Welcome to NW Yoga Therapy
Personalized, accessible, science-based yoga therapy to support your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Meet Katie, your Yoga Therapist
Hello and welcome! I’m Katie, a Yoga Therapist (Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, C-IAYT), yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), and the founder of Northwest Yoga Therapy, an in-person and online yoga therapy studio.
As a Yoga Therapist, I use evidence-based yoga tools to support the mind-body connection, nervous system regulation, resilience, and stress reduction. My goal is to assist in safely managing, reducing, and relieving the effects of mental and physical suffering. My approach is grounded in science, guided by compassion and a deep commitment to support each person’s unique journey toward self awareness, agency, and well-being.
What I offer
Private Yoga Therapy (in person or virtual)
One-on-one sessions begin with a comprehensive review of your overall well-being, using HIPAA-compliant forms that explore your medical history, quality of life, and lifestyle. As part of this intake process, musculoskeletal and breath assessments are also performed. From there, using customized and evidence based yoga therapy tools, we’ll create a personalized plan of care based on your unique goals and needs.
Small Group Yoga Therapy Workshops (in person or virtual)
These workshops focus on specific themes such as Yoga Therapy for Low Back Pain, or Yoga Therapy for Anxiety. Groups are limited to four participants and include an initial one-on-one intake to explore your medical history, as well as a musculoskeletal and breath assessment. Each series blends education, evidence informed yoga therapy tools, and community support in a safe, intimate setting.
Working Together
Yoga Therapy with me is deeply client-centered- you’re the expert of your experience. I’m here to support you with respectful guidance, deep listening, and tools that fit for you.
Every session is collaborative and personalized. I blend modern science with ancient yoga practices to help you build awareness, ease, and resilience. Yoga and wellness belong to everyone- and should be within reach for all.
